Is my PDF uploaded to add the watermark?
No. The watermark is written into the PDF entirely locally in your browser. Your file never leaves your device – our Content Security Policy makes uploads technically impossible.
Which texts work well as a watermark?
Common markings are CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, COPY or SAMPLE. You can use any custom text up to 80 characters.
Can I adjust the position and transparency?
Yes. The watermark can be placed diagonally across the page, in the header or in the footer. Opacity comes in three levels from subtle to strong.
Is the watermark applied to every page?
Yes. The text is stamped onto every page of the document, with correct orientation even on rotated pages. With multiple files, the whole batch is marked consistently.
Can the watermark be removed later?
